Don’t eat too much raw food, be careful of health risks.

The growth of raw food consumption in Cambodia is increasing, and there are many dishes made with raw meat. Therefore, it is important to regularly check your health because the bacteria and parasites in these foods are also a high risk for our humanity today.

These raw foods have been around since the dawn of time. Or fish fillets, beef fillets or fish fillets, undercooked grilled beef, papaya and other dishes made with raw fish or seafood, sushi and sashimi made from fish that has not been stored properly and properly, etc.

Please exercise caution because these raw foods have been warned by experts that they contain dozens of parasites and bacteria. These microorganisms, which we cannot see with the naked eye, can be present in the meat used to make these dishes since these animals are still alive, and some of them have penetrated when the transportation, storage, and preservation of these foods do not meet proper safety standards, etc.

The effects caused by the microorganisms embedded in these raw foods can cause many dangers, especially making health weaker and more vulnerable to attacks from other viruses. Besides that, it can also be life-threatening because it can damage or poison vital organs in our bodies.

Regarding this issue, according to a report in the Thai newspaper The Nation, doctors in the country have warned citizens to be careful of various types of pinworms and tapeworms caused by eating raw beef.

Dr. Nakaphat Rattanapithun ( Natkaphat Rattanapithun, a consultant at the Parasitic Disease Research Center and head of the Medical Center in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, said that these tapeworms can grow extensively in the small intestine and spread to other parts.

He said that when the infection is first transmitted, there are no symptoms at all, but when the level of infection increases and the tapeworms or tapeworms develop more in the human body, it can cause serious complications, including bile duct blockage, bloating, nausea and vomiting.

He warned that in severe cases, the viruses can be passed through the mouth, nose or anus, for example. Regarding the consumption of raw meat, the World Health Organization has warned that unsafe food containing harmful bacteria, parasites or chemicals can cause more than 200 diseases, ranging from diarrhea to cancer.

The World Health Organization advises that to reduce the health risks associated with the consumption of raw meat, it is essential to ensure freshness, high quality and traceability, and that all food preparation processes must maintain the highest standards of hygiene.
