The two women were arrested on the morning of May 2, 2025 after they allegedly drove a car together, chased and then attacked a woman’s car, and sexually assaulted her the day before. The incident occurred along Street 265, Construction Market 12, in Sangkat Teuk Laak 3, Toul Kork District, Phnom Penh.

The two are said to have used a luxury car, known as a Ford Raptor, to hit another car, known as a Toyota Prius, driven by a woman who is suspected of having a relationship with the husband of one of the women involved. In addition to hitting the car, the two women are also accused of using violence, causing the woman to suffer serious injuries. In addition to the two women who have decent jobs to support themselves, there is another man who the authorities have not yet arrested and are searching for.

This is a case that reflects the problem of a love triangle and is a hot topic in Cambodia.
